Terms & Conditions for the Harley-Davidson UK & Ireland Eagle Rider Route 66 Tour and Harley-Davidson VIP Experience prize draw (the “Prize Draw”)

  1. Introduction
    1. The Prize Draw is organised and run by Harley-Davidson Europe Ltd (“H-D”), who can be contacted at Oxford Business Park, 6000 Garsington Road, Oxford, OX4 2DQ, United Kingdom.
    2. By entering this Prize Draw, you agree to these Terms and Conditions (the “Terms”) and any decisions reached by H-D, which are final and binding in all matters related to this Prize Draw.
    3. The Prize Draw starts at 09:00 (GMT) on 12 February 2024 and ends at 18:00 (BST) on 30 April 2024 (the “Prize Draw Period”).
  1. Who can enter this Prize Draw?
    1. Participants must:
      1. be residents of, and have a postal address in the United Kingdom or Republic of Ireland;
      2. have held a valid motorcycle licence for a minimum of one (1) year;
      3. have a minimum of one (1) year’s riding experience on heavyweight motorcycles (270kg or above). For more information, visit https://www.eaglerider.com/guided-motorcycle-tours/route-66-motorcycle-tour-harley-davidson-vip-experience which includes contact details for EagleRider); and
      4. be aged 21 or over.
    2. The Prize Draw is not open to directors, members, partners, employees, agents or consultants of H-D, any person who directly or indirectly controls or is controlled by H-D, or any supplier of goods or services in connection with the Prize Draw, or their spouses, life partners, business partners or immediate family members.
    3. By entering the Prize Draw, you hereby warrant that all information submitted by you is true, current and complete. H-D reserves the right to verify the eligibility of all participants and disqualify a participant for submitting false information.
  1. How does the Prize Draw work?
    1. No purchase is necessary to enter the Prize Draw and entry is free.
    2. To enter the Prize Draw, participants must complete the online test ride booking form at https://testrides.harley-davidson.com/en_GB/GB24-019-FO and complete a test ride at any authorised and recognised Harley-Davidson dealership in the United Kingdom or Ireland during the Prize Draw Period on any 2023 or 2024 Harley-Davidson Grand American Touring model listed below (an “Entry”) (being “Entries when referred to in the plural):
      1. 2023 CVO Road Glide Limited;
      2. 2023 Electra Glide Highway King;
      3. 2023 Road Glide Special;
      4. 2023 Street Glide Special;
      5. 2023 Road Glide ST;
      6. 2023 Street Glide ST;
      7. 2023 or 2024 Road King Special;
      8. 2023 or 2024 Ultra Limited;
      9. 2023 or 2024 Road Glide;
      10. 2023 or 2024 Road Glide Limited;
      11. 2023 or 2024 Street Glide;
      12. 2023 or 2024 CVO Street Glide;
      13. 2023 or 2024 CVO Road Glide; or
      14. 2024 CVO Road Glide ST.

        An authorised and recognised Harley-Davidson dealership is one that is listed on the Harley-Davidson website’s ‘Find a Dealer’ page, which can be accessed here: https://www.harley-davidson.com/gb/en/tools/find-a-dealer.html.
    3. Each participant can only enter the Prize Draw once. For the avoidance of doubt, if a participant has entered more than once, only their first Entry will be accepted and constitute a valid Entry. If a submission fails to satisfy any or all requirements of an Entry, it will not be counted as a valid Entry and will be void.
    4. All Entries must be received by H-D during the Prize Draw Period or they will be void. H-D will not accept responsibility for:
      1. Prize Draw Entries that are lost, mislaid, damaged or delayed in transit, regardless of cause, including, for example, as a result of any postal failure, equipment failure, technical malfunction, systems, satellite, network, server, computer hardware or software failure of any kind; or
      2. any change in dates, times or cancellations or other arrangements that may prevent a winner from accepting, taking or using a prize.
    5. On or after 1 May 2024, one (1) winner will be selected at random, using a random computer-generated process, from all valid Entries received.
    6. The winner will be notified on or after 1 May 2024 via an email or phone call (“Notification”).
    7. The Prize (defined below) must be claimed in accordance with the instructions in the Notification within seven (7) days of the Notification (the “Claim Period”) by replying to or answering the Notification (as applicable). In order to receive their Prize, the winner will also need to provide H-D with any further information (e.g. details of the person that will accompany them on the Tour (defined below)) requested by H-D, in accordance with the instructions set out in the Notification within the Claim Period. Failure to claim the Prize in accordance with the instructions in the Notification within the Claim Period will result in the forfeit of the Prize and an alternative winner will be chosen.
    8. The winner may be required to provide H-D with proof of identification in order to verify compliance with the eligibility requirements for the Prize Draw.
    9. If a winner is found to be ineligible or fails to comply with the Terms, then the winner may, in H-D’s sole discretion, be disqualified and an alternative winner will be selected.
    10. It is the winner’s responsibility to provide details of their Guest (defined below). The Guest must comply with the eligibility requirements contained in clause 2 and H-D will require proof of the Guest’s compliance with each requirement in clause 2.
    11. If the Guest is found to be ineligible or fails to comply with the Terms, then the Guest may, in H-D’s sole discretion, be disqualified and an alternative Guest may be selected by the winner.
  1. What is the Prize?
    1. There will be one (1) winner.
    2. The winner will be entitled, along with one (1) guest of their choosing (the “Guest”), to participate in EagleRider’s seventeen (17) day Route 66 Motorcycle Tour and Harley-Davidson VIP Experience (the “Tour”). More details about the Tour can be found at https://www.eaglerider.com/guided-motorcycle-tours/route-66-motorcycle-tour-harley-davidson-vip-experience. The Tour will include the following for each of the winner and their Guest:
      1. Motorcycle rental;
      2. Bike model guarantee;
      3. Grand Canyon helicopter tour;
      4. Hotel accommodation throughout the Tour (1 room for 2 people);
      5. Custom armoured riding jackets;
      6. Fuel on riding days;
      7. Breakfast on riding days;
      8. Hosted welcome dinner;
      9. Half-shell helmets for rider and pillion;
      10. EagleRider farewell party;
      11. Tour guide;
      12. Support vehicle for luggage and spare bike;
      13. Support vehicle driver;
      14. Door to door luggage service;
      15. EagleRider on-road concierge;
      16. Custom tour completion patch;
      17. National park entrance fees;
      18. Hotel parking fees;
      19. Transportation between hotel and EagleRider locations; and
      20. Toll fees

        H-D shall cover the costs of flights to and from the Tour for the winner and the Guest. H-D shall have discretion over the flight route, ticket-type and itinerary. The above being the “Prize”. H-D shall liaise with the winner to arrange the winner’s and Guest’s participation in the Tour.
    3. The Prize will only be redeemable for the English language Tour commencing on 3 September 2024. If the winner cannot attend the Tour commencing on 3 September 2024, it is at the sole discretion of H-D as to whether an alternative date can be offered. If no alternative Tour date can be offered, the winner will forfeit the Prize. The Prize will be subject to availability and prior arrangement with EagleRider.
    4. The winner and Guest must attend the Tour together and redeem the Prize on the same date. The Prize may not be split across separate dates.
    5. It is the responsibility of the winner and the Guest to ensure that they comply with any terms and conditions that apply to the Tour, including any set out on https://www.eaglerider.com/motorcycle-tours/guided-tour-terms-and-conditions.
    6. The Prize is non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and has a cash value of zero. The Prize is for personal use only and is not for resale. The Prize may be forfeited in the event that H-D determines that the Prize is being misused. H-D reserves the right to substitute a prize of an equal or greater value in its absolute discretion.
    7. Beyond what is stated in clause 4(b), H-D will not be responsible for providing any food, accommodation or transport for the winner as part of the Prize.

    1. The winner and Guest may be required to participate in reasonable post-event publicity, and agree to any such content being shared across Harley-Davidson social media channels, including recognised partner channels. H-D will not use any of the winner’s or Guest’s personally identifiable information for post-event publicity purposes without first obtaining their consent to do so.
    2. H-D reserves the right to amend the rules of the Prize Draw, to withdraw the Prize Draw at any time if circumstances beyond its control make this unavoidable, or to cancel the Prize in the event of non-compliance with these Terms.
    3. H-D will use your personal details to contact you for administrative purposes relating to this Prize Draw.
    4. If you have elected to be added to H-D’s email database, you will also receive promotional emails with offers, news, products and information. You can unsubscribe at any time.
    5. H-D will keep your personal information safe and will use your personal information in accordance with the privacy policy available on its website (https://www.harley-davidson.com/gb/en/footer/utility/privacy-policy.html).
    6. The winner’s surname and county will be made available. The winner will have the right to object to this information being published or to request a reduction in the amount of information being published. H-D may be required to provide this information to the relevant regulatory authorities.
    7. The decision of H-D regarding any aspect of the Prize Draw is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into about it.
    8. Any cancellation or changes will be posted on H-D’s official Instagram account (@harleydavidson_uk) and Facebook account (https://www.facebook.com/HarleyDavidsonUK/?locale=en_GB).
    9. With the exception of liability which cannot be excluded by law, H-D is not liable for, and you release H-D from, liabilities relating to any direct or indirect loss or damage which is suffered as a result of entering the Prize Draw, failing to win, winning, accepting or using a Prize.
